For teams

One hour that changes what your team eats at work

Three ready nutrition workshops for office and remote teams, run live on video by Dr. Triveni Chandraprakaasam. Each is 45 minutes of practical teaching and 15 minutes of questions. No slides full of food pyramids, and nobody is told to give up coffee.

Eating well at a desk job

It is 3 pm, the meeting ran over, and the only food within reach is the biscuit tin. This session is about that moment, and the lunch that came before it.

People leave with: A one-page lunch builder and a short list of desk-drawer foods to shop for once.

What the hour covers

  • A lunch that lasts until the evening: protein, fibre and something you actually like
  • What to keep in a desk drawer or bag, and what quietly makes the afternoon harder
  • Eating at your screen: why you eat more and notice it less, and one small fix
  • Water, coffee and tea across a day of back-to-back calls

Energy after lunch

Most people fade somewhere between 2 and 4 pm. Part of that is the body clock and nobody can lecture it away. The rest comes from what and how much was on the plate, and that part can change by tomorrow.

People leave with: A before-and-after page of the three lunches and a two-week "try one change" card.

What the hour covers

  • What the afternoon dip is, and which part of it lunch is responsible for
  • Three ordinary lunches rebuilt so they don't put you to sleep
  • Coffee timing: when it helps the afternoon and when it costs you the night
  • The ten-minute walk after eating, and why it is worth blocking in the calendar

Working from home, ten steps from the kitchen

At home nobody sees you skip lunch, and nobody sees the fourth trip to the cupboard either. Remote teams need different advice from office teams, so this session is built only for them.

People leave with: A weekly lunch plan to fill in and a shopping list that covers five working days.

What the hour covers

  • Giving the working day a shape: meal times when there is no commute and no canteen
  • Grazing or hunger? How to tell, and what to do about each
  • A fifteen-minute lunch from what is already in the fridge
  • Shopping once so the easy choice at 1 pm is a decent one

How it runs

  1. 1

You pick a session and a date

Tell us the workshop, your team size and your time zone through the contact form. We reply with dates and one price for the session.

  2. 2

We ask your team two questions

A week before, we send two short questions you can forward: what people usually eat on a working day, and what they most want answered. The examples in the session come from those answers.

  3. 3

    Sixty minutes, live

About 45 minutes of teaching and 15 minutes of open questions, on the video tool your company already uses. Cameras are optional.

  4. 4

    A page to keep

Everyone gets the one-page summary afterwards, so the session is still useful to people who were on holiday that day.

Questions HR teams ask first

Who runs the session?
Dr. Triveni Chandraprakaasam (M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D.), Nutrition and Wellness Consultant and founder of NutroPractic. She holds a doctorate in Foods and Nutrition and runs the sessions herself.
What time of day can you do?
Live sessions run Monday to Saturday in two windows: 04:30 to 08:30 UTC and 11:30 to 15:30 UTC. The second window is around lunchtime in the UK and Europe and morning on the east coast of North America. Tell us your time zone and we will suggest slots.
What does it cost?
Ask us. You get one price for the session before you commit to anything. There is no subscription and no per-seat licence.
Is this medical advice?
No. A workshop is general nutrition education for healthy adults at work. People with a medical condition, or who take medicines that food affects, should keep following their own doctor. Anyone who wants personal advice can book a one-to-one consultation afterwards.
Our team eats very differently from each other. Does that work?
Yes, and it is the normal case. The two questions we send beforehand tell us what your people really eat, so the examples are built around their food instead of a sample menu nobody recognises.
Can you do a topic that is not on this page?
Often, yes. Sleep and food, eating around shift work, and a healthier office snack shelf are common requests. Write what you have in mind and we will say honestly whether it fits.

Planning a wellness week, or just one good Thursday?

Tell us the session, your team size and your time zone. You get dates and a price by reply. Longer programs, challenges and on-site sessions are on the services page.
